You must register in advance. \n***This class is in-person only*** \nWatercolor is a wonderful and expressive medium.  It is also very portable\, and the materials and supplies can be easily carried to wherever one may wish. This course is designed for those with little or no watercolor experience. The focus on wet and wet into dry watercolor techniques will be a major focus of the course. We will explore color mixing\, drawing\, lighting and composition as mechanisms to paint the still life set up. \nSupply List:\nWatercolors- \n(.5 ounce tubes 15 ml):\nBurnt Sienna\nAlizarin Crimson\nCadmium Red Medium\nCadmium Orange\nCadmium Yellow Light\nIvory Black\nSepia\nUltramarine Blue\nThalo Green\nBrushes- \nRound Sable or synthetic: #3\, #5\, #8\n1” wide flat wash brush\nWatercolor Palette-\n(I prefer the rectangular white plastic “John Pike Palette”\, but other brands can work as well).\nPaper- \n12”x16” Arches Cold Press Block 140 pound weight- (other brands okay)\n3#x4” cellulose sponge (available in the supermarket)\n2 jars for water
